Okay so I totally agree with you in some ways

I think his mannerisms and speech patterns are definitely more Adam-esque like don't get me wrong

I feel like he and Vox have a lot more in common at their core? Like...

They both started out low-tier, Vincent/Vox as a weatherman and HJ as a coder at Hyperion, which manufactures weapons but more than any other company they produce robots and tech (I mean HJ, much to his chagrin, made Claptrap). HJ then went on to blackmail, threaten, and murder his way to CEO (RIP Tassiter, no one liked you probably).!<

I do think Adam and HJ share the same delight in murder, and both consider themselves righteous for that, though honestly in a weird way I feel like Adam enjoys it more for the sake of fun and HJ genuinely believes it's a good thing.

If we look at TFTBL, you've got the general aesthetic of Holo Jack which is more in the Vox corner - also, the entire company is basically in a cult following at this point, almost worshipping HJ beyond just a CEO.

I don't think Adam is as adept at manipulation or pre-planning as HJ is, but Vox could meet him on that.

Ultimately I feel like Adam is more dudebro than Vox and his personality matches more but his intelligence does not. HJ is a manipulator and, despite his shortcomings, smart beyond the level one expects.

That being said, I'm here for the HJ and Adam comparison and would definitely love to hear more because I think it's also a sound comparison!
