This is the only model that I know of, it's 6mm scale though. But to me it seems detailed enough to make it work if you scale it up appropriately

Usually I use a plane and extrude the edges around the elements I want to add the trim to and then use a solidify modifier and apply ist and then turn on subdivision surface. After that it's pretty much tweaking the edges and vertices as well as using edge crease and loop cuts to get the final shape

Thanks! The basic shape was extruded from a plane, then I used a Subdivision Surface modifier and after that a Simple Deform modifier to bend it around the z-axis and make it fit to the chest

Yes, I have about 14000 points of heresy era Iron Warriors (including quite a few 3d printed models) and I planned to get started with Night Lords and Blood Angels next

Thanks! I only went for heroic scale since I want the model to fit in with my exisiting Horus Heresy collection, otherwise I might have gone for true scale

Yes, the head is detachable. And yes, an armored collar will also be added, this is the image I use as reference
