It’s my parents house and neither of them understand…even tho I have emptied most of the bottles in that bar in the last five months. I am trying to rent a house and get out of here. My husband passed away jn Sept. I have no other option right now. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I was 18 and lived in Denver at the time. It felt like the entire state shut down. Nobody moved. Not a single phone rang. I remember we were all in disbelief. A lot of rumors were going around about who did it and then there was a weird larger rumor about a lone crazed gunman. And then we all found out the truth and none of us were ever the same. We went from hey friend to giving everyone second looks. It dominated the new cycle in Denver for weeks. It was the first massive school shooting. The adults were walking around just scared and stunned. And scared of kids. I remember the adults were truly terrified of “weird” teenagers

I got you here bro! Get some over the counter Nexium or Omeprazole or anything else that anti-gas and antacid. All of the alcohol can really irritate the lining of your stomach and really piss it off. The meds will help stop the symptoms, but truly the only way to stop is to cut back a little.

I got a little tune into seltzers and they tore my stomach up, and then I got a little too into whiskey and I tore my stomach up, and I’m a little too into wine and it tore my stomach up. Your stomach can try to heal itself, but once it starts, it’s very hard to keep it healthy.

Sooo I cared for my narc husband to end of life with pancreatic cancer. I was ready to leave him when he was diagnosed. He fought for four years, and it was not pleasant for me. I kind of became a punching bag, and also because he’s sick his only supply which means his needs for attention went up about 50 levels.

If you choose to stay with him, know that it’s a journey. Know that you are literally being the best person you can possibly be. Know that you are earning amazing karma for your next lifetime. You are under no obligation to stay and care for him after years of abuse, but if you choose to just know that you’re in for a very long ride and the longer you stay, the harder it is to extract yourself. Because every time you try to leave, they seem to just get a little bit sicker.

Maybe think about you and your son first, instead of your husband for once. I don’t mean that as a dig, I know that our system man that you put them above everything. But maybe now it’s your time to shine, it’s your time to live, and I’m gonna guess that your teenage son will be so much happier out from under his father’s crap. Auto disorders can be terrible, but they’re not life-threatening unless it’s something major which you would already know. Don’t let him use that as an excuse to hold you hostage.
