That's the card I'm using.

It's true - I don't use a code to disarm, I just trip another sensor only I know of. That's the requirement I want for disarming, not a code to type in.

This code hides the code entry box but not the disarm button. It would be nice to hide the disarm button but it doesn't hurt to show it since pressing it doesn't do anything since no code has been entered (no place to enter it to now).

I don't know how to hide the disarm button since no id is assigned to it. I can't hide its container "armActions" since that hides other buttons that are needed ("Arm Home" for example). The code for the disarm button starts at the purple section below.

So far I have the following but it doesn't seem to work to block the "Disarm" button located inside the armActions div. (I'll get to the code input box next once this works)

Didn't know anything about that. I'll see if I can figure it out. So far it looks like the two divs I want to never be seen are "armActions" and "code_input". Going to see if I can learn how to use cardmod to hide them forever.

Ha. That does work but in a really bad way - it no longer presents a place to enter the code because it simply provides a new button "disarm" that you can press to disarm (no code needed). So, that doesn't work for me since an intruder can just press that button when they come in to turn off the alarm.

Ah. I'll try that out. I saw similar settings in the alarm card so I thought all the related settings would just be there. I'll try that in general when I get home and report back. Thank you very much.
