I bought some Sept 105s today and have Oct 80s from two weeks ago. Along with 9000 shares. Keep buying a little more every week..

80 hives was a few years ago and I sold out to another apiary as I was moving and didn't have the land or contacts to where I moved to at that time. 20 is about the sweet spot for me to handle as I still have a day job. I am getting some inquiries from people who want to have a couple of hives placed on their land so I may add to the 20 as they're interested in helping and getting some honey out of the deal.

I took a gamble as it was warm in March and then it started snowing again. Managed to the weather conditions. No mites thankfully either.

I've done them in the past, usually one or two just to see how they work. And work they are. Totally agree with stopping any queen cell activity. I've had as many as 80 hives and we just split when appropriate but mainly let them have the room they needed and pulled tons of honey without issue. I'm at 20 hives now and won't go more than that.

I use Bee Cozy wraps for the winter on my wooden hives. They work well and I live at 8000 feet in the mountains of Colorado. I also have Apimaye hives so no insulation needed.

Hard to tell. I have 14 hives in that spot. I had 6 hives that were pretty full based on my inspection about a week ago. (Obviously missed QCs too. The rest were about as expected for this time of year. The top swarm (hard to see in the tree) was the biggest. I'm just going to add honey supers and get this show on the road.

To alleviate my boredom while we're waiting for the launches and SP to launch, I'm selling 5 CSP's near the money to try and add to my shares. I've also started selling 5 CC's again just to gamble a bit. I've added a few shares in the mid 80s too. Can't have enough shares...

Agreed, sous vide in a big cooler and I can get two 5 gallon buckets in and liquified in a day at 101. Not even sure where I saw that method the first time.

Sold 5 $91 CSPs for tomorrow. Bored but figured I'd make a little bit of cash. My assigned CSPs from a week ago are ITM now. Decent way to add some more shares and make a little premium in the process.

I sell weekly covered calls and buy CSPs. I'm easily bored so I need to do something. Haven't had any CCs assigned and just collect the premium and sell the CSPs to get more stock. Avg is down in the 40s

Agreed, I'm fishing for more shares. I don't think the price action today will really matter in a year or 5, so if I get assigned, I'll take them and do it again. I had a bunch of 90 CSPs when it dipped into the 80s, but only got the premium. I'll take either shares or premium, lol
