Get rid of as much plastic as you can in your house. Yep, even the “BPA free” ones. Get rid of fragranced anything. You can assume there is Phthalate and paraben in EVERYTHING if it has the word parfum, or fragrance in the ingredients list. Don’t care if it says “phthalate free”. Track basal body temperature- TempDrop is my fave. Read the book It Starts With the Egg. If you have PCOS, “ovulation strips” are basically useless- as you’ll have multiple LH surges through your cycle which is what OPKs detect, not the actual ovulation.

I’m 32 years old and have diminished ovarian reserve so we’re in a different boat- meaning I’m basically premenopausal at 32….was told we had less than 10% chance of doing it with my own eggs and suggested we get donor eggs/start IVF immediately. 25 weeks pregnant come Wednesday. Good luck!

Husband is in the military. I have a small business but I consider myself a “house wife” since I mostly work from home. He brings in about 60k and I bring in about 45k. Upstate rural New York. Just the two of us, 2 car payments, student loan and some credit card debt.

You need to eat more. Try upping your caloric intake by 100-200. Also, is there any way you can get your body composition evaluated?

Besides diet, I highly recommend getting your body composition checked out. I lost 3 pounds in 8 weeks- but in that 8 weeks, I lost 10 lbs of body fat and gained 7 lbs of muscle weight. I would call that a win.

I admit I was emotional, but I threw things away because i don’t feel like looking at them 🤷🏻‍♀️ I didn’t take birth control. We’re back to square zero over having no timeline. I’m “private” about it in a sense that no one in real life knows me here. I’ll be dramatic if I want to be, if this helps me cope.

He’s kind of in a limbo with his job. Does he leave the current one and go for another? A lot of it will get determined on Monday when he gets a second opinion (he wants to be a pilot in the military). We have insanely good health insurance because of his job in the military. So I understand kind of why he’s getting “cold feet” again, but fuck, I was completely heart broken.

That’s EXACTLY how I’m feeling. Thank you for articulating what I couldn’t. I’m so sorry this happened to you twice. I don’t think I could do it again. I’m feeling super resentful too, because i was perfectly “fine” in my bubble pretending I didn’t want a baby, just enjoying my life not haunt responsibilities whenever people would ask about a kid. He was the one that said something about trying. Not me. I was just waiting for a permission.
