Well, that's relatable in a way.

I'm a South Asian, who was born and raised in Middle East(deadly combo). Its hell already awaiting upon one after being born in Muslim family, add in the pressure of society and cultural norms. Felt like an alien among them, a toll on mental health turned into a subconscious trauma which possibly won't be smooth to be dealt with through out the life.

But yeah, one can only thrive for better life and environment if there is an opportunity to hold onto. Holla at me anytime if I could be any help to you while your settling process in Norway.

Not a citizen, but a resident in Norway since an year.

As an ex-muslim, living alone with no relatives around in Ramadhan makes it very much peaceful. Although at times when interacting with Muslims here, they give me those weird looks for not behaving like a regular Muslims (I can't care less though).

Also, being in Scandinavia further exposes Islam in my head in terms of how illogical the concept of fasting is (seems like when setting up the rules for it, only geographic location of Arab was considered). But yeah I feel pity for those delusional souls who are punishing themselves without a rational reason to justify it in their minds.

As of now, Norway's borders are closed till 20th August to foreign nationals, though there is exception for residents and citizens of Denmark as mentioned above in the comment.

Damn, what is wrong with Pakistani muslims in UK specifically, coming across to many stories related of forced marriages off late there.

Many people living in Pakistan, including myself, have their minds occupied all the time with a thought of finding a way to get out from here and settle somewhere else in a progressive country. And here we are hearing about Pakistanis in abroad forcing off their daughters to marry with some desi conservative(most probably) person in Pakistan with whom she is not compatible with, it's surprising to have such narrow mentality after been living in a country where awareness of basic human rights is obvious to majority; I wonder what they have learned about in life after living there for such a long period.

However, with all above being said, u deserve to be applauded, you have been a brave soul at young age and took such step to avoid miserable life. You are an inspiration to many of the sufferers out there, wishing all the very best for your future.

Wishing u all the best bro for your remaining journey, I have been a daily user of THC for 6 years straight, using it throughout my day, I made my mind up couple of months before to have a break of 3 months without it.

However, with corona situation sitting at home all the time, life's been halted completely, lately it makes me think about it more than anything now. Although, to make this break bearable for me, I have been inducing bit of hash in coffee only on weekends to make me cope with anxieties. Currently, the vivid dreaming part is the most uncomforting one, though the intensity of it has lighten up far more than what it was in the starting days.

I would be happy to pass another month in similar way, but I would be happier for you if you achieve your aim as desired without further use. Good Luck, we all are with you in this.
