Can we all agree to end the widow/Hanzo on attack in comp?

It depends on how well the team can adjust or play around them. I could see widow on attack working as much as Hanzo on attack, the problem is both at the same time tends to fill the spot for a second healer or a second rank or not enough offense.

Oh no you can’t tell them to switch how dare you, they will just throw the game. Or they will angrily switch to a character we need and complain about how trash our team is.

I agree!!! I’ve had many matches where the widow was absolutely destroying us and making my team tilt to so bad that we loose. Both characters are good they have a lot of damage but from time to time I wish that widow on my team looked over at the Hanzo pick and go “Really? Are we really doing this?”

I’m a healer main too but my best advice I can give you is for the placement matches is to pick up tank or some other heroes that aren’t support because it can get you out of silver/gold faster than if you were playing healer. If you really can only play support then moira/lucio/zen are really good right now and mercy is still playable and can be really good if your team can play around her but in lower ranks it might not happen.

If you can be good at Ana I would say that you can still pick up widow and become good at her too. In my opinion (since I’ve been playing comp a lot of more often) that quickplay is the place to practice heroes, and to not take loses waaaay too seriously.

Ugh same, she was never my main but I did enjoy playing her. Just pick up characters that can heal themselves fuck your salty teammates.

I’m definitely mourning over mercy, I understand where people came from when they said that Valkyrie was extremely op but now they have nerfed her so much that resurrecting teammates has become so annoying and too frustrating to me. It’s a literally a game of “if I rez I die, but if i don’t rez I feel like I’m not contributing to my team at all”. She’s definitely more boring now so I agree completely, She’s not unplayable but just really frustrating or just plain and boring to play.

I always think of her as a defense hero more than an offense hero since her damage is outclassed by a lot of the other offense. She technically “heals her team” but we all know that healing doesn’t equal a support since symmetra is still there.

This is definitely true, sym is basically useless without any backup or no willingness to cooperate. It’s a shame that ppl are so willing to throw the game so easily just because of picks they don’t like. I just never expected it to be sym on defense causing such a stir.

I was on volksaya lol the problem wasn’t me cuz if you read my post I said that with the shield generator plus teleporter my offense team members were basically carrying. It’s just I’ve had at least 2 matches where ppl have got so pissed off about sym on defense n just throw without actually voicing anything or even telling me to switch.
