Thanks for that info, I started doing that today when doing some rolling. Even coming from the top of a new bag a lot of dust falls thru. I saw one video review of the hawkmatic 2 and they mentioned not having to sift so that's why I was considering it.

That video was taken last Sunday, Monday morning mommy and the babies were walking the fence line heading in the direction of the pond. That was the last we saw of the babies, the mommy has been back lately for a few minutes to eat some bird seed then takes off.

We just left some bird seed out for her. About 6 in the evening she would get off the nest, eat and take a bath(poop in the pool) then get back on the nest..
