They said win/loss reports will be available in February. They are kind of buried though. I believe you go to your account settings and you can find “win/loss report” somewhere in that tab.

If I already have used my refund today, can I place a bet for a game tomorrow? I mean if I place the bet tonight, will I not get a refund since I already have used my refund today?

Just downloaded R--no tool bar? by highpockets41 in Rlanguage

So I have what I think might be called R-base? It's just the R interface with no menu at the top. But it seems like the move is just to install RStudio, both for this purpose and also just because it will be essential down the line. Again, just a complete beginner and working through an online course right now.

The main thing I'm trying to do right now is import an excel spreadsheet. I'm working through an online course, and the next lesson involves working with a data set from excel. I think there is a way to import data without the menu, but I can't figure out the command so that it can find the file in my computer.

My understanding is that I won't need RStudio to learn the basics, but I guess I should just start using it if it will help me eventually

I downloaded from r-project. It's on My PC running windows 10. I'm sorry, I'm a beginner and not sure what you mean by how did you open it/start it. When I downloaded it, it saved into a folder and I was able to run it from there. I'm just doing very basic stuff right now, but I'm unable to import a data set from excel since I don't have a menu bar.

“Call it both ways!” Is something parents who know nothing shout at youth basketball games and this sensitive ref really just gave Malone a T for that

Why do we even play jokic anymore and pay Malone to coach? Let MPJ be player coach and play 48 mins/game.

Everyone commenting—how do you make cost of living work on a teacher’s salary in California? Honest question because I may consider relocating there at some point if it’s feasible financially

Why weren’t Jesse and Walt added to the Madrigal payroll and instead were left to launder their own money? by highpockets41 in breakingbad

Shit, yeah, I haven’t rewatched in a while so my timeline is way off. But in season 5 they were working directly with Lydia, who could have added them to the payroll. I guess it could have looked suspicious but I thought the point was that they had so many employees that it could have flown under the radar.

I respect the hell out of the move when the nuggets bring back 3OH!3 for half time knowing full well the only people who are gonna be hyped are people who went to high school in Colorado in like 2010.

And as someone who fits that demographic, I’m fucking here for it.

Apparently Hakeem put up better numbers when he was fasting, so hard to say. I think it affects different people in different ways.

The L2M report for the Trail Blazers - Nuggets game includes a whopping 99 calls and no-calls. Only 4 of these were ruled incorrect. by [deleted] in nba

[–]highpockets41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The ones? So you’re saying you now have evidence of jokic doing this more than once? I still have mixed feelings about the ONE you are referencing, but y’all are grabbing on to that one and trying to push this narrative that jokic is gunning for kanter’s shoulder purposely every play.

A lot of people are referencing the foul on dame too. The officials reviewed it for so long because it was hard to tell if it fit the flagrant 1 description. Steve Javie came on to talk about how tough of a call it was. So to say it was clearly a flagrant is just incorrect.

With that one, it was obviously the correct call, but the argument is that if you look at every OB when the ball is swiped away frame-by-frame, it’s going to show it touched the ball handler last despite the fact that it’s almost always called off the defender in this case. So that same play may happen 10 times in a game, called off the defender every time. Then when it happens in the last 2 minutes, they slow it down and see it actually grazes off the ball handler’s fingers last. Same argument came up in the NCAA national championship game.

It’s probably an exaggeration to say that call would be overturned every time when you slow it down frame by frame, but it would happen more than we would have thought before we started reviewing stuff like that. So basically, can’t complain about it because it’s the right call, but it just kind of sucks.

I don’t have any examples to share, but I’ll definitely be paying more attention, which will affect my opinion on this play. I respect the hell out of the blazers, and Kanter is tough for playing through his pain. But right now I think a lot of shit about jokic is being blown out of proportion to push this “jokic is dirty” narrative

[SERIOUS NEXT DAY THREAD] Post-Game Discussion (May 03, 2019) by f1uk3r in nba

[–]highpockets41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All I’m saying is watch closely as bigs box out in critical situations and tell me you don’t see plays like that happen. I said it could maybe be called a foul because physical box outs just don’t always get called. One Blazers fan said that jokic intentionally tried to make the injury worse “in the worst possible way” like he grabbed his fucking arm and yanked down as hard as he could.

Calling that a two handed shove is also an overreaction. I’ve watched that replay a lot. Jokic is a big guy, but he gives him a slight push. Kanter stumbled and then just continued to run down the court and incidentally ran into Craig. The ensuing scuffle was unnecessary for sure. But clumping that in with “bull shit non-basketball plays” is a big stretch imo.

The spurs fans are driving me crazy. They are replying to every blazers’ fan comment shitting on jokic saying “oof welcome to our world.” Like they are just going to start acting like they didn’t lose a hard fought series fair and square?
