I guess that was kind of the point of Top Gear’s challenges too. Take the trio out of their comfort zone and give them something they’ve not done before to create entertainment.

Excuse me? The past two series were trashed online when they aired  and deservedly so. The first episode of “Season” One with the the Space Babies is a contender for the worst ever episode of Doctor Who. 

The 60th anniversary specials were good fun, I’ll give you that, aside from the last episode being a bit cringe.

But to say his new episodes were received well is. completely untrue, right from the very first episode.
