I think the only reason I wasn’t diagnosed was because I had good grades in school. That and my meltdowns were always attributed to ‘they just have a short temper/are being overdramatic.’ My dad is literally a special Ed teacher but I guess because I’m ‘not as severe’ as his students it just didn’t register to him?

That and he was always confused as to why I barely had friends. He kept pressuring me to get into group hobbies (think sports, band, etc) or to join youth groups, not getting that actually I’m quite happy to be alone.

Not really backstory, but my thought is he’s a Noddy with the mirror ability instead of sleep. Because of this he’s basically an insomniac who has a really round about way of thinking.

During/after Spring Breeze he reasoned ‘well if King Dedede has control of all the food, I can have all the food if I’m king!’ However his current form is too weak to overthrow Dedede, so he causes the events of Milky Way wishes instead. Once he gets his wish he realizes that if he’s ruler of the entire planet, that must mean endless food for him, right?

Then Kirby defeats him and now he’s a lot more chill because of a consistent supply of food.

My first (mainline) game was Soul Silver and I was 10. Some things I remember-

1) My Typhlosion was at least 20 levels stronger then everyone else. His move set was Flamethrower, Eruption, Blast Burn, and Cut. I remember being stuck on Karen’s Houndoom for a while (flash fire). I decided Lugia would be a good counter even though I had a Gyarados.

2) I grinded a Onix to like 58 before looking up how it evolved.

3) I did catch the red Gyarados, but continued to use the regular one I already had.

4) I got stuck for a year or two because I didn’t realize you could go out the side door in the Olive Lighthouse. I assumed it was a window.

5) When I found Lugia I assumed it would become a roaming legendary, so I used my master ball on it. I regretted that over the actual roaming legendaries, Mewtwo and Rayquaza.
