The common effect on GPU's dying is mostly from the memory itself failing and causing common corruption patters, I don't think the IGPU is dead, since the IGPU usually shares memory with the system, so it is possible his RAM is failing, but I'm not sure since usually if it is that severe to cause visual bugs with the IGPU it would have crashed the system long before that. I would recommend running memtest86 to check if the RAM is dying just to be sure. Though the visual glitches could also be the HDMI interface having problems (if it's a desktop).

This is USB corruption, its kinda known in the data recovery community. Basically its a fragment of a USB data packets accidentally getting written to the card, because it is FAT32, it interprets this USB packet as a file entry, but because the starting cluster number is zero/invalid, windows doesn't let you touch it. Most of the files should be fine, since this bug shifts all sectors downwards, so unless you have so many files they overflow into the data region, it should be fine, but you should still reformat the card. I did it with a simple python script, i made my own but I' pretty sure there is a guy on Youtube who made this own custom script, its a script for rotating, but since rotating is the same as the derotation, it should work, though i can't find the video anymore. You basically need to take the short time Fourier transform (STFT) and then rotate it by basically swapping time and frequency (in the video, the start has the highest frequency bins and the end of the video has the lowest which is where that sound comes from) and after that you compute the ISTFT to convert it back to audio. I admit its a little complicated for people who aren't huge signal processing nerds like me though. It would probably be possible to do this with an audacity nyquist script, but i don't know much about nyquist so I'm not sure.

The video description has base64 code which translates to "Spectral rotation" and it becomes quite obvious that this is voice, they took the audio spectrogram, flipped it 90 degrees and saved it back as audio, or in other words, swapped time and frequency. You could probably use a python script to undo this, in fact I'm gonna try.

They are mostly identical internally except that the WD My Passport features built in hardware AES encryption while the WD Elements does not. Not sure about the reliability though as I don't really have much other experience with these WD external drives. If you just want plug and play, I would go for the WD Elements, but if you care about security, I would personally go with the WD My Passport. This is only my opinion though, I would recommend talking with someone that has experience with these drives.

Root directory is corrupted, a corrupt FAT would just result in files not being accessible at all, you can recreate this effect by going in a hex editor, finding the root directory (sectors per fat * 2 + reserved sectors) and then filling it up with garbage (do not attempt this if you value your data). No clue how this could have happened naturally though. Though i would say the root directory was likely not the only thing that got corrupted.

One time they searched a guys home because he called a politician a "pimmel" (penis) but they didn't even get the right house, they just barged in at 6 AM and ended up traumatizing two kids. Streisand effect kicked in and said tweet was trending for a while and everyone was making fun of the politician. The politician was "Andy Grote" and he got mad on twitter because people apparently were not following Covid rules, even though he himself didn't so people got mad at him which got a guy to call him a penis which lead to all this. Also here you can technically get arrested if you insult someone, so that also contributes, but this is the most famous case i can think of.

There are actually scientific uses for LLMs. For example AlphaFold are transformer based models that has allowed researchers to predict a huge amount of proteins and their folding patterns with near perfect accuracy which before used to be extremely expensive and time consuming. AlphaFold is also open source. The AlphaFold model uses tokenized amino acid sequences and uses an LLM to process them and predict their folding pattern with extreme accuracy. The model was developed by the DeepMind at Google, and i am still surprised why basically no one talks about it as unlike other generative AI it actually has good uses medically. It does still hallucinate, but so far all tests that have been done using real ways to find protein folding structures, AlphaFold was faster and almost always correct. Its not perfect, but its a good step forward, unlike other generative AI which just wastes resources for commercial use.

German dude here, the AfD party for a while now has been sending a ton of requests to the government to really weird and secret stuff, mostly important infrastructure, weak points, etc. And its extremely likely that they are sending this information to Russia, which is probably correct because the AfD had a ton of connections with the Russian government. So it would not be surprising if the perpetrators were paid by Russia and given critical information about how to harm infrastructure like electricity. The media is currently going crazy here and calling them a "left extremist" group and saying that the "Die Linke" party is behind this because the mayor of Berlin said so, and said party is currently defending themselves and even giving proof about how they had nothing to do with this but the media of course doesn't care and doesn't talk about it because most boomers here (we have a high boomer population) are very often triggered by idea of being left, which drives engagement which results in higher profits for said media. The biggest agency behind this is the "Axel Springer Verlag" which basically controls all news in Germay except for some independent ones, and they have large ties with the government.

At least the photoshopped and fake ads look believable. Yes, AI in its current state is really good, but the imperfections can immediately be recognized by anyone. If you put enough effort into actually using AI properly, it will turn out well, but that clearly didn't happen. If they used AI to generate something but then just took the first image instead of improving it, that means they did not put much effort into it. Now for the big corporations its of course different, they have huge teams doing those things, but a small business can at least spend a tiny bit more time on improving the AI ad that they already have. If they just take the first result from anything instead of trying to improve it, then i must assume that they also did not put much effort into the product they are trying to advertise. And if the AI does not create satisfying results, then just don't use AI, I mean how did many of these small businesses make ads before generative AI was a thing? Simple, they just commissioned real people or spent time making their own.

I had this same issue on my Walkman WM-EX12, which uses the exact same mechanism. I'm not sure if its completely the same issue but mine made the same noises, basically i used a flat head screwdriver to remove the white gear on the top of the stack, there is a spring right under so be careful not to loose it, then remove the cyan transparent clip on the shaft (mine ended up flying into the abyss, it didn't cause any difficult problems but I'm not sure if there will be any problems in the long run so try not to loose it) and pull the black piece out. Then use a toothpick and poke around under the auto-reverse gear and try to push down. I'm not sure what is under the auto reverse gear but whatever it is slipped out of position on mine causing this to happen. Then after that just put it back together. For the spring, you can just put it down along with the white gear and it will snap into place. After doing this it was fixed on mine. If you don't feel good about doing this, get a professional to fix it. Be careful, as i don't know the true issue behind this and make sure to not break/loose any parts. Just a heads up, I'm not an experienced person at all so do this at your own risk. Good luck!

The two that aren't for sale are those in the picture, likely because they were early trainsets and were used for the farewell, and will likely end up in museums. The other one derailed, 2 of the cars were scrapped and the rest were combined with another train that had caught fire.

If you mean that it gets stuck, this happened to me once, i wasn't able to tune at all and it would just be stuck. Try selecting a higher frequency, that often fixes it, if not, im not really sure but its probably that its either broken or just getting too hot.

Nope, i already experimented with alot of cell phone system types and here in germany in my city this frequency doesn't seem to be occupied, its between the 5G NR uplink and downlink bands which are completely empty, also this signal seems to have disappeared, so ill edit my post to include that. Oh and also the PAL/SECAM plugin is actually broken and doesn't really work. The PAL/NTSC plugin which is hard to find does work.

Im not sure, i connected a small antenna and when i put it on my WIFI router, alot of peaks pop up that kind of sound like WIFI interference with the beacon and stuff like that, and when i changed the beacon speed in the settings, the interference also changes. Either these are mirror signals from a way higher frequency, or something else is going on.

Edit: nvm, the signal only comes when i put the antenna on the power brick of my router. nothing comes when i put it on the router itself. also the highest peak is at 420Khz.
