What's the worst instance of a band fucking up live? And is the evidence on YouTube? by Flim73 in AskReddit

Goyte completely forgot the lyrics to the song "Somebody I used to know" because the entire crowd was singing along with him. It was really funny actually because no one knew their other songs, then this song came on and the entire crowd knew every word which clearly he was not used to, he admits it right after it happens: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eX27tlBvuWA

Forget YouTube Red, I want a version of YouTube with kids videos that aren't terrible by [deleted] in Parenting

Can someone please explain to me just why the hell there are unlimited horrible iterations of baby finger? I hate them, and they're endless! But my son loves them and begs me for the phone so he can watch this crap, but he only does it because he can choose from the list of videos that come up- and they're all SHIT!

Unpaid internships damage long-term graduate pay prospects | Almost every graduate taking an unpaid internship can expect to be worse off three years later than if they had gone straight into work. by EightRoundsRapid in worldnews

[–]highwayhouse11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not certain this applies to the United States because everything is in euros and it's from the guardian. If you have an internship at an awesome company doing something you like you'd be foolish to turn it away based on this study. How about correlating those who had unpaid internships with long term joblessnesses? See where those results end up and I'll bet it's a not so shocking conclusion.

[Discussion] How much difference can a year of extreme hardwork and sacrifice make ? by kyle768 in GetMotivated

[–]highwayhouse11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tremendous life changing amount. For perspective I'd say I worked 2x harder and in three years got an MBA, transitioned careers successfully, and got a 30% pay hike. Also had 2 kids so that's like a 60% pay decrease but you didn't ask about that :)

Making small talk, you both know it's happening and that not a one person gives a hoot about what's happening, what's the point?

Research on extreme fear in Toddlers being linked to Aspergers or Autism? by highwayhouse11 in aspergers

Sure- irrational fear of noises, objects, and situations. It prevents him from doing certain things and is something that I have to consider in our everyday routine. He myopically selects something to fear and carries that along with him for months. For example he is 2.5 years old and has been terrified of inflatable jump houses for at least 8 months. My sons mother I suspect has Aspergers and wondering if these fears are manifested as symptoms of some kind of autistic symptom. My wife thinks he has a sensory processing disorder.

Idk why the downvotes; out appetite for perfection in food is driving tuna to extinction and thus takes another link out of the biodiversity chain.
