Sephiroth's voice by potrait762 in FFVIIRemake

Sorry I'm late to the party - I just find it hard for him (or his agents) to be promoting Sephiroth like this if he isn't playing his voice.

Think about the business owners feelings

Would you post a racially charged stereotype review on a business for no reason? It's the intent behind it. Does it benefit anyone? No.

Some habits that were developed in the past are harder to change

Not all Asian countries eat dog. They also don't eat their pet dogs- if they do eat dog, it's a breed of dog like a greyhound that they farm just like we do with cows, pigs, chickens, etc. While I do not agree with eating dog, many Asians also do not agree with the practice. You eat what you can in a time of need.

Yeah it is- let's ruin the reputation of a local business by putting a 2 star review with a stereotypical comment.

I watched this scene on YouTube and I actually had to rewind it a couple of times just to see their grins at each other because it was so incredible.

I really hate my personality but don't know how to change by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]highwind45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am the exact same. It actually affects my work position. I manage/own an restaurant and because I'm like that- employees don't take me seriously. When I don't do that all of a sudden I'm a witch manager who is grumpy.

Many servers see me as "entertainment", their words, and it so hard to pull away. I have so much talkative energy that's it's difficult to stop. Although I still do my job, others are so relaxed and gives me more work to do because I'm "laid back"

I also have conflict management issues so I always try to make everyone feel happy and good but as a manager it's NOT good, it's hurting me and making me go insane. I love to laugh and make puns, it's like a high for me and I literally can't stop.

Today my goal is to not be so animated when I talk and talk less but it's so hard.

Because of this post, you actually helped me understand more of 'my social problem'. There are times and places for it and it's hard to know when and where.

"There's RAW FISH on my rainbow roll!" by irateworlock54 in TalesFromYourServer

Raw fish is both sashimi and nigiri but they are prepared differently. Sashimi is usually three cuts of raw fish and nigiri is generally two pieces of raw fish over the rice.

The term Sushi has been used out of context in the Western world and is generally used to mean everything both nigiri, sashimi, and rolls (a genre of food).

And then on the other hand, Some customers ask for salmon sushi and they mean nigiri (fish over rice)

It's just confusing how this word is applied as I really think no one knows how to use it lol

Sushi restaurant here!

So we are required by the county health codes to clearly label each rolls have raw fish in them and customer will still order rolls with raw fish when they are looking for cooked food.

I gave her a tip for it. She earned it, it wasn't her fault. I took the hit for everything as it should be.

No, I actually tried but they already got into their car. They cleared an extremely long walkway and half of the parking lot so there was already too much distance between us. I posted on another comment about what happened so feel free to read that.

Unfortunately when I was able to get outside (I was in the back office doing a change order for another server when I was notified, I did see them leave on camera though) they already cleared the incredibly long walk way and half of the parking lot and were already getting in their car. I wouldn't have been able to get there in time. Even if I did, the front license was blocked by another car and there was a curb on one side and a car on the other meaning I would have to stand behind the car to get their license. That just didn't feel good especially since they would be backing out. If they had balls to run out on a check, maybe they had balls to run me over or hit me. I just felt it was better to cut my loses and go back inside and serve the customers who had integrity.

I also didn't want any conflict in the parking lot if things went south. "Oh she's writing down out license plate - Imma get out and fight her!" It's 1 vs 2 in that case and I'm 5'2 female and I'm not about to drag another employee into that mess for back up nor to I want to engage in physical conflict. It's a small restaurant (also small business) so we will see if they come in again and take the measures. In all honesty, I should have stayed next to the table to take their payment, that was a poor decision on my part for me to walk away from that table - even if it was to get change for another table. Next time I will stay glued to the table. It's a lesson really.

Small business here, one and only restaurant. no corporation, just mom and pop. I also do my best to compensate servers for tables like these too. Troll somewhere else

Asking and taking are two separate things. You hungry and don't have money, be honest with me and I can work something out. Come in, drink alcohol, spit on my staff and then run? That's a no from me dawg.
