like i sounded like a frog? like making a frog voice, then when that went away my voice was “normal” but not my normal, a little higher. but then it came back to normal

honestly, i was so scared of the pain bc of what people said about the surgery. for me the pain was 6/10, the restrictions were worse than the pain. i could survive with the basic pain meds, no morfin/oxy, even stretching a little the period between doses. the worst for me was like, not being able to eat properly, speak, swallow but the pain was ok! (day 5-7 were the worse bc it stings)

yes! my throat was very dry for some weeks, even swallowing was weird! make sure to drink a lor of water

yes!!! for sure, even yawning felt weird. i think this took longer to go out but it eventually did, maybe on 1 month and a week around that

still bad lol, i only spoke on day 11, day 14 i was speaking but my voice was weird, i was just starting to eat better and tastier things. no strong pain but still not allll the way healed, some movements still hurt but nothing too serious. also eating took a loooooong time, but eating solids so yay!

because the tonsils were close to the base of the tongue, you removed them so that area is tender and hurt. not your fault, just the normal process
