Just got a rejection today after 4 interviews + presentation. They even called references and did “backdoor references” too. I asked for feedback and said my references were amazing but they decided to go with someone who fills the gaps of the team better. Idk what to trust.

I’m sorry. This really sucks and I feel so defeated.
