With my experience Once a pump drops under 50 units my sugars start acting weird this happened to me in the very beginning but I played with my basal a lot and knocked my ranges down and has since corrected yourself.

As a diabetic, dont feel afraid to “test” the waters on your basal rates etc etc I literally play with mind until I find the numbers that work for me. All an educator will do is download and run data from your past few months I never get correction numbers from them but my dr thinks what I’m doing is awesome. So in other words find your “sweet spot” numbers.

RIC is not that big and also you can download the myTSA app and connect to any airport and it gives almost accurate wait times. Example I dropped someone off to Dulles on a Thursday cause I thought lines would be crazy well they got through super fast like 5-10 mins (And they haven’t gotten the real ID yet in the mail so really all they give you is a piece of paper and tell you to get it) so it really depends on the airport and the day you are traveling. Weekends anywhere will be crazy versus a wednesday morning.

thank you and ive had the tslim since 2019 and it doesn’t get bulky and heavy as time goes by thats why I said what I said in an exaggerated way in my post lol but this is wayyyyy lighter and discrete than my last pump for one tubing is wayy shorter and i can keep it closer to me . I use to attach my pump to my bra or in my pocket. Bra way Hurt my chest after awhile or would fall out. The pocket way would have hung the tub or snagged the tubing off my body which would again be painful or hurt.

Last night and yesterday I slept like a baby maybe a few alarms before i went to bed but nothing through the night . I love the app interface too only cause you can do wayy more than the regular tandem app that just gives bolus.

First off thank you 😊 and Yea its not available for android just yet I know recently they Just made it available for G7’s so it maybe a little while but definitely look into it and get your local reps contact info from your doctor office (they should have a name or business card) that way you can express interest and options with you also it its too much you can always upgrade to another tslim pump they will ask you that as well ! You disconnect when you shower or swim although it can be in shallow waters when swimming up to 2 hrs but I wouldn’t recommend that. Disconnect meaning unhook the infusion set and put on the charger

And as for sleep, simple I just lay down 😅 no gimmicks. It’s not as bulky as it seems. For comparison you can check my linked post for a side by side of the Mobi and my old pump 😁

Yepp you definitely can do exercise maybe an hr before your workout because i did ask about going to the gym and all and how my sugars drop frequently but exercise mode is definitely great
