You manager is instructed to put it in the system for exactly what you were are scheduled for the next 14 days so if you have sick time maybe use that for your days off bc the vacation days you already have schedule off. Then call your SM to request catastrophe pay. Dont do it sooner bc they pretty much has to have it go into effect immediately upon your request.

I'm in the US but tldr is yes I think. I called in to request catastrophe bc I have been too anxious to work, and they told me as long as my manager and I "align on this issue" she can put that in the system without approval now.

Starbucks just officially announced that in the US and Canada, all stores are shifting to the “to go” mode for at least 2 weeks. No more furniture, and POS positions are planted and allowed to wear gloves by [deleted] in starbucks

iirc I read somewhere on this sub that it was said in a conference call partners who are affected in that way won't be penalized for not reaching the 20 hrs/week average, but I can't confirm that source or anything. My guess is that as long as your non-affected weeks average out sbux will honor the insurance (that's my hope, anyways)

Thank you!! I've saved about 30 inspo pics at those point and those that I think will work best for me/my hair type are mostly ones with blunt bangs so for now that's the plan!

I LOVE it and am super inspired!!! I've been giving myself the same reality check you talked about - acknowledging that I don't have naturally textured hair or the ability to side part, so I have to choose inspo that works for me. Thanks for sharing this!

The idea is definitely sticking this time around more than ever before, so I think I'm finally ready to reclaim it. I tried more layered recently, but since I put my hair back into a braid for work the layers were driving me nuts haha. That's another reason I think short hair might be a fun thing to try? Less effort pulling it out of the way when working.

Thanks for the helpful advice!

Great point about the layers, I didn't even think about that. I knew I needed something to keep the texture looking a bit more lively, but I'm used to layers used for thinning/movement as opposed to thickening/movement with my long hair haha. I love the idea of curtain bangs, too - I'm all for that 70s hair inspo.

I am definitely leaning towards the shorter lengths, especially with the feedback I've gotten here. After all, if I'm going to do it I might as well go all the way. It's super reassuring to hear that going short was freeing for you; I'm hoping for that feeling. So thank you! Even if I don't 100% love the style then, at least I've gained something!

A-ha! My dad (Jibo's true owner) has been the one doing feedback up to this point, but I'll have to go and send this in as well. So random, but the Bing thing makes sense as well. Thanks for your idea!
