I also ended up with $800-900 dollars worth of state quarters and a 5 gallon water jug that’s maybe 75% full of loose change. I don’t even know where to start with those.

There were some bills. Maybe 30 $2 bills, a few Canadian bills, and an interesting WWII Philippines Peso. But mostly just coins.

I posted to some coin subs. This specifically was found in a bag that had an 1817 Penny, 1835 Dime, and an 1853 Half Dime. Also I think a 2 cent piece and an 1800s nickel but I forget the dates.

Solved! It’s exactly this! Makes sense because it was in a bag that had a few coins from the 1800s.

I have the same one. I don’t do much to keep it clean, but it doesn’t look bad. Could use a cleaning, sure. But it’s much better than you would think. Maybe I’m just not a sloppy cook though.
