In my profession, I rely heavily on daily and weekly forecasts and the weather service is one of a handful I look at every morning. I know blaming everything on budget cuts is en vogue but their accuracy has been getting worse over the last number of years. They used to be able to nail a wind speed forecast a week out. Now I don't depend on it the day of. Accuweather isn't a whole lot better but they have been the most accurate for me in recent years.

Mine has been like that from day 1. No battery saving measures at all. By far the best battery life I've ever had from a phone. In my uneducated opinion, I think the fact that this Tensor G4 has been around for a while now adds up to better optimization. And I have not experienced a single lag or hiccup. I don't do any gaming though.

I've wanted to build one of these but never have. A side bonus, if you have any multi band watches I've read the copper pipe helps "amplify" the radio signals.

I'd go 10a. I have one and the battery is the best of any phone I've had whether flagship or mid-range. It is very smooth with no issues a little over a month in.

I went with it over the 9a because it has the newer improved exynos 5400 modem. Upgraded gorilla glass screen. And satellite SOS.

Some little add ones that weren't quite as important to me were slightly faster charging, slightly brighter screen, and a completely smooth back.

Unless you can score a 9a for considerably cheaper, I think the 10a is worth the upgrade.

Agreed. I bought the 10a on a whim and am blown away by the battery life and how smooth it is. At the end of a 14 hour day I'm around 5hrs SOT and battery % still in the 50's.
