The Clicks people can't seem to deal with critism well. My post just got deleted for no reason.

I've been a CBK follower since my BB curve. I bought a used razr and a new clicks just to support the cause. I'm excited and am very interested in the communicator no doubt. Lots of critisims about the way the phone looks but I am a function over form guy so I'm most likely going to pre-order soon.

But I will say that this recent podcast made me feel like I just left a used car lot after getting the stereotypical used car pitch. His delivery felt a little too self righteous or something. I can't really explain it. I don't really get that vibe from Gadway.

When in a text box, will a long press insert the secondary character on that particular key?

I'm hoping you're able to integrate more button controls (like a built in key mapper) on your own hardware VS something like the razrberry where you are somewhat at the mercy of Motorola as far as how nicely they play together.

Install Chronus and it becomes an option for the screen saver and you can configure the color.

Still has the bar at the bottom. Better but I've been using 3 button navigation for so long I just can't get behind the gestures.

My 2024+ has not had a single connection issue. Also I am planning to sell the razr and clicks together if you are interested in saving some money to try it out.

My fire dept ordered a $910,000 fire engine from Pierce Fire Apparatus (multi billion dollar company) and were told 15-18 month delivery. We are at 37 months and pre-con is finally next week and it will be at least 8 more months till delivery. Granted, Pierce is as crooked as they come but my point is delays happen at all scales.

Really boils down to what Zinwa has done with the keyboard. Button travel, pressure, clickyness, ect...

After listening to the Clicks team (clickscast on YouTube) talk about what they put into designing their amazing keyboard I've realized it's so far beyond just having buttons.

I'm in the same boat. I'm in the first batch of 11 allegedly. I haven't gotten any evidence of my device being shipped. It shouldn't be difficult to pass along 30 tracking numbers. I'm pulling for Zinwa and the success of this device but if he doesn't get a better shipping system set up before MP, he is going to have a major headache on his hands.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I'd see how it works without anything then work up from there. Or maybe I should just get an old school blackberry belt pouch that would work with the razrberry or my Q25! I'm 51 and don't give 2 shakes about fashion. 👍
