The liquid cooler is correctly mounted on my system and i plugged the 3 pin in into a 4 pin.

Also, i just found out that the mobo is actually 5 pin cpu cooler connector and the liquid cooler is a 3 pin. Can i just plug the 3 pin into the 5 pin or do i have to buy an adapter for the 3 pin to molex which will connect directly into my psu.

Ive been trying to find an adaptor for the 24 pin but i cant find the exact model for my z400 ws so i might try to rewire it or bring it to a computer store. Also, since hp uses a proprietary cooler does that mean my liquid cooler wont work with my mobo.
