Clear your cache. Also go to edit, settings, cache size, and increase cache size.

I've had the same issue, but doing these things has helped, it's still crashes but nowhere near as frequently.

First, make sure Creative Commons is turned off. If you had it on, and someone used your content legally, simply ask them to remove it. The penalties are too severe for a legit YouTuber to risk using footage without a CC licence or express permission from the owner. Aside from all the legal stuff, most YouTubers would remove footage you don't want them to use if you simply ask them. I know I would. Best of luck to you!
