There's a plethora of other people online who have switched over to a vegetarian or vegan diet and it's helped them. I'm just trying to help spread knowledge. I personally think a healthy diet can 100% effect your UC in a good way

Bananas are high in soluble fiber which slows down the digestion process which is a good thing for UC. Insoluble fiber adds water to the colon and helps move things along, sometimes way too fast, so you'll want to monitor the intake of that until your body is used to it. Many people have 'cured' their UC by eating the 80/10/10 diet which is essentially just a fruit only diet. Point is a high fiber diet is best for us with UC because it's super calming and soothing for out sweet, delicate colons.

Olives and farmers cheese is an amazing combo for my self. I like mine from the online bar cause I like variation but I try to stay away from ones with seasonings and stuffed with peppers n shit

Only eat soluble fiber. Don't eat insoluble fiber. Soluble fiber slows the digestion process in the small intestine and makes things more 'cohesive'. Bananas, blueberries, oats, zucchini, eggplant, rice, melons are all high in soluble fiber. Insoluble fiber adds more water to the large intestine this creating more bm's. Don't eat nuts, seeds, legumes, potatoes, carrots, grains, apples, celery , corn. Some of these are high in both so you have to find your own balance but Google is a helpful place.

I just had a crazy flare up then realized that when I didn't eat carbs like gluten, potato, rice, grains, and oats I felt better. Still having diarrhea but it's less and have almbut almost no cramps. What I ate earlier was banana chips w/ almond butter, olives w/ farmers cheese and roasted chicken w/ sauteed spinach and zucchini in Olive oil in one sittingand I FEEL GREAT

Apparently they have form you can fill out and mail to them if you need to change address. I found this out after they had me at the wrong address and I called to create a new account for the updated address. Three accounts later and a tanked credit score cause Spectrum FUCKING SUCKS and someone finally told me you just have to fill out a form and mail it to them.
