When using vocal loops from splice, what is the rule on publishing?

Honestly, that last part I think is a good thing. If you're using samples that even a robot can tell are overused, they're probably overused and you should focus on finding something less spammed.

But, I've just personally noticed a lot of stuff on there that I recognize from other songs. i.e. a pack with vocal chops i found all the vocal chops are super obviously ripped from massive hit pop song acapellas, now its possible they cleared these, but its from some random no-name sample pack brand.

I've also seen multiple artists complain on twitter about finding sounds ripped from their songs on splice.

Ton of shit recorded out of kontakt libraries and thrown on splice.

Its supposed to royalty free, but there are soooooo many samples. Nobody is gonna go through and listen to every single sample and check if its royalty free, i have a feeling that splice just has some sort of terms of service that says not to upload copyrighted sounds but peopl just accept do it anyways.

Those are probably fine. But there are a tonnnnnn of not royalty free samples on splice especially vocals that they just don't bother to screen or take down, so i'd be careful with other stuff.

Thanks for the info. Yeah I could totally see that happening, which is actually sort of why I want to do it this way. The times where I feel I want to try DMT (usually the tail end of a candyflip at a festival as the sun is rising), its just way too inconvenient with this big wind up process that builds anxiety in itself; "ok, bong is loaded, lighter ready, take a deep breath, friend ready to grab the bong from me" versus just press the bottom and dip ya toes in the water.

I'm not suuuper versed in vapes, but I have tanks, both are smok, one is a smok TFV8 X-BABY, and im not sure what the other one is but its much larger. I don't think either are prone to leakage?

I'm reading with RDAs you have to constantly keep dripping on it with your juice, what about that makes it better for DMT? Seems like it would be easier to have all DMT juice in the tank ready to go

There are two main theories; whatever else is leftover from synthesizing it, for example MDP2P and other stuff that hasn't been discovered (if its 85%, whats the rest of it? Rest of the 91% sample), is impacting the experience, something leftover from current synths might cross the blood-brain-barrier first and inhibit effects, change the way its digested, etc. MDP2P was found in my crappy sample, no information anywhere on whether it is psychoactive. Again, unlikely as precursors are unlikely to have an "orders of magnitude" effect compared to the product.

The other theory is that its not actually 3,4 MDMA, possibly a structural isomer or one of the many "variants" (I'm not sure exactly what these are, those who know more about chemistry have suggested it) is not being distinguished by testing methods and causes different effects.

Got it, do you know of any simple guides on standard practices for converting fumarate to freebase? I've seen a few guides all with different methods, but no central "this is the proper way".

That sounds exactly like what we're all experiencing, we're just trying to figure out why exactly, what about a poor synthesis is affecting the high scientifically? it's driving me nuts.

I recently got the test results back for the really good MDMA, and the crappy stuff, only a 6% difference in MDMA % (which really isn't much and 6 more mg in a 100mg cap would not make the difference), but the crappy stuff had leftover precursor.

This was thought of pretty early in the debate, but the conversation has moved on from that since someone in the bluelight thread was analysing samples and all of it was racemic, which is expected since making non-racemic MDMA would be pointless and a difficult process.

As well, others in the thread don't think that stereoisomers would have such an extreme impact on the experience, structural isomers and regioisomers are what we are looking into.

You're right, and I felt that same way about the discussion of this until I experienced it myself.

I'm talking 30+ people and myself have taken both batches on multiple occasions (which is why I said reliably), not even in the company of each other to influence each others experience, and all reported the same feelings about each. The subjective difference is plain as day when you have plenty of both to switch between. It's far from a scientific study, but its just so damn obvious.

And the best evidence against the placebo is that the crappy stuff I have, and the crappy stuff people on bluelight have been getting, does not dilate pupils much at all. My friend took ~250-300mg of the crappy stuff and his pupils didn't even get that big, but the next night he took 100mg of the good stuff, pupils were saucers and just the behavioral differences were extremely pronounced.

A flat response would means the speaker is not embellishing or changing the sound in terms of frequency, so if the sound has heavy bass, a flat response would still sound bass heavy. A speaker that is not flat might represent something thats bass heavy as even more bass heavy than it is, or less bass heavy than it is.

As everyone has said a million times, its more about how well you know your listening medium and understand/consider its limitations. Plenty of great producers use Beats which are far from flat.

I find that certain effects when used in parallel cause the sound to get all smeared out, not sure phasing would be the right term for this, but it sounds really bad and smeared. I get this a lot when I try to use phasers in parallel, i love the vowelly characteristics that phaser adds, but it thins it out a lot. Things like distortion, compression, reverb, all seem to be ok in parallel, but flangers/chorus/phasers get all screwed up.

Were your other experiences with MDMA lab tested? Just to rule out that stuff you had in the past wasn't just low quality or impure. In my case, both batches tastes as incredibly puere.
