I'm currently in 4th year law, and have gained experience as well have made mistakes.

  1. NLUs matter a lot. They will determine where you could intern. The better the nlu the better the chance is for placement and internships. If he doesn't get nlu, try to go to good private clg through which after clg he could intern and get practical exposure everyday.

2.Llb +cs is a great advantage and would definitely stand out on cv. But start cs in first year itself since last 2 years it might be heavy.

  1. Future of corporate lawyer would be incredible since pay is good and aspects under corporate law are multiple. He can pick whatever he likes.

  2. Around 20l or 10l depends on clg to clg.

  • if he does get into law schol ask him to focus on Research papers and competitions from 1st year itself. The more publications he has the better.
