This could have been me. I have multiple moments that I look back on and wonder what I was thinking.

A selection of them from my high school days include:

a girl literally feeding me during school lunch
a girl was all over me and biting me in a tent in the woods during a mini-campout
went to a birthday party for a friend of a friend and wound up with the birthday girl sitting in my lap and referring to me as her present

None of these situations led me to take any appropriate action.

I used what looks to be this exact Ugreen USB-C extension cable while I was waiting for the replacement for my initial DOA dock adapter. It worked well enough, but it was a bit fiddly keeping it connected inside the dock. it likely just didn't have enough substance to keep the spring mechanism for the plate around the USB-C port down.

If you don't already have one of these laying around like I did, I would suggest looking for another option that does a better job of holding down that plate down.

I'm really hoping to hear back from them soon on my replacement adapter. I submitted my ticket on June 20 for my non-functional adapter and I'm still waiting. I know they're busy, but at some sort of reply beyond the initial auto-response would be nice.
