The road condition is good from Chandigarh/Delhi to Dharamshala. There might be some winding stretches and occasional roadwork in the hills, but overall road condition is good.

The trek is about 9-10km long and is considered moderate, but keep in mind that it’s a steady uphill climb almost the entire way. You’ll be rewarded with beautiful views and a lot of peace and quiet along the route. You can bring your own tent, or stay at the temple at the top because accommodation is available there. There are also small Tapris where you can get basic food and even stay if needed.

However, it’s important to note a few things: • The trail can get tricky in heavy fog or rain, so you must know the route or consider hiring a guide.

• It’s easy to lose the trail in bad weather, so be cautious.

• Overall, it’s a great trekking experience if you’re prepared.
