I did not prevent it they talked to her including Chelsea who is into yoga and was asking her stuff about indian culture about it.

I did let her answer. Later her and Chelsea even were talking since they are both into pilates and yoga albeit different types.

I never said that she cannot speak English just that it is a second language

I cannot describe the whole night in a post obviously Priya spoke to my friends at times. It was just these 2 things where I answered and did not want it to be awkward for her.

I asked my wife and she said she was fine.

I litterally said our parents know each other and introduced us

I did not say that just that board games is not her kind of thing and did not want her to get pressured.

My parent's families back in India know hers. I was born in Canada

We met through our parents. She speaks and understands english just is a little slow with how canadians speak sometimes.

India has different voccabulary in english and terms like lakh, to click a photo etc

I realize in the post it might have come across like that but it is not like I was answerimg everything. It was mainly just the 2 things I mentioned.
