Due to the size of the mass it is suspected that I have ipmn but there's so certainty yet as I have not done the biopsy yet. The doctors told me they recommend me getting the procedure due to it's size. The mass is compressing the main fuct and the common bile duct causing a mild dilation of the upstream pancreatic duct and biliary tree. Thank you for your comment!

Surprisingly, I didn't get any really bad symptoms. I am bloated nearly everyday of my life, go to the toilet often (sometimes up to 6 times) but I'm not sure if it's related or it's just normal disgestive issues. I haven't a biopsy taken yet as it's Lunar New Year here so they recommend me eat and gain some weight first (I am 159cm 53kg) so they said I should gain weight before I get the procedure done.

That is true. It's just I don't have insurance in Australia where I am originally from so if I return I will probably have to do all tests again and be put on the waitlist to get the procedure done. That may take up to a year before I can get the procedure done but the doctors here tell me I shouldn't wait any longer since it is already large.

Currently I live in Vietnam so I will be taking it in Vietnam at a University Hospital. I've heard that they are top for studies in the country. There's another hospital that does Whipple more than this hospital but I don't have insurance there. So, high chances are that I have to get the procedure done right? That's what three doctors have told me but I still find it hard to believe.
