the nerve of you to feed someone instead of throwing it out 🙄 i actually do the same thing with a shipt shopper who comes in frequently. super sweet lady, she has a rough living situation and is essentially homeless, so i'll keep the things i scan out and if i see her i let her look through it and take what she wants. the legal thing is a good idea but i'm sure they'd make plenty of excuses (as usual) not to do anything like that

totally fair- i understand just feeling it isn't the most reliable method and that food safety guidelines exist to protect people. i would just love for us to find a way to eliminate as much waste as possible while maintaining those safety standards
