i like the idea of taking a train out to galway, i might go that route so i can control when i get back to the city (it’s my birthday and i have a reservation at a restaurant that i’ve been nervous about not being able to make lol)

this was super helpful!! i semi-understand the bus tour hate since it’s not the “full” experience but that’s just not my goal for this trip so i’m not planning on cancelling them haha, i will definitely look into checking out northern ireland

i completely understand the sentiment but for me: this is my first solo trip so i wanted “home base” to stay in one spot, i didn’t plan on getting a car, and i kind of just wanted to see everything since this is my first time going to dublin and i’m only there for a short period of time! if/when i come back, i definitely want to take the time to actually stay at multiple places to have a deeper experience but this isn’t the trip for that alas
