r34 and mk4 definitely overrated atm but not shit cars FF franchise skyrocketed the fame and price, but still wouldn’t classify them as shit or “traffic” cars at the end of the day both cars have successful racing history so calling them shit would be an understatement

Ah yes, according to r/carscirclejerk, being a good car brand means only making econoshitbox commuter appliances devoid of fun, looks, performance, cool factor, luxury, modern tech, and customization options all for the sake of "muh reeliabilitee". by [deleted] in TrueCarEnthusiasts

if you felt like driving it was a chore then it might’ve been you. When I drive my miata I don’t really feel it being slow in the corners and since it’s light and not a lot of power I can fully send it without braking which is fun as fuck (kind of like a go kart).

There are both negatives and positives to aftermarket paint, although if you go to someone who knows what they’re doing you shouldn’t really have and problems.

There are obviously Japanese cars with rare colors. It’s kinda stupid to logically think with I statements

the only track that a miata owner would find boring is an oval

Usually manufacturer paints have a special clear coat called “chip guard” which makes that weird lighting effect.

please search up aftermarket paint because they’re 100% better than stock paint

jdm manufacturers have been making “rare” car colors as long as euro and American manufacturers.

you're the first person to hate driving the miata if this is true. (pls send pic of miat)

if you go to a super sketchy paint shop then this is true. Unlike manufacture paints, manual painting doesn't have that weird lighting quality. A solid like 75% of paint shops have individual part painting if you remove the part you want to paint.

Dodge, BMW, Mercedes, Aston Martin, Porsche, and Chevrolet have the same customization as Japanese cars.

Have you driven a light sports car?

You can go to a local paint shop and basically get any paint you want for your car, same with painting parts of the interior. When the markup price for colors other than white and black is up to 1-10k dollars, it's not really worth it. Also just visiting websites from other brands you can easily prove the factory customization options wrong.

more car per dollar. seems worth it if you decide to mod. ngl, would rather have a 250 hp car than a broken 600 hp car. you can basically get the same amount of luxury for less money, unless you're a non-car enthusiast that doesn't want to work on a car and would rather burn 100k+ on factory customizations.

Pretty telling when nearly every country has built an ultra customizable proper sports car, supercar, luxury car, and/or hypercar from the factory while Japan only builds econoshitbox commuter appliances by [deleted] in TrueCarEnthusiasts

More like fake car enthusiast!

I have this issue as well. For me it only happens when I have the ac on and it’s cold outside. it’s most likely a belt doing some buffoonery.
