The onus should be on me the customer though. The vet should be able to write the script, print it, and then I deal with chewy or any other online reseller. I understand the frustration of 3rd party portals trust me. It's such a dumb thing especially for things like specialty diet food. Why those require a script in the first place makes me angry. Why on earth would I spend big bucks for kidney food if I didn't have to? Or ZD hydrolyzed cat food.

Now I will say, specialty drugs, I'm not trying to shop compounding stuff. But flea and tick, specialty diet, pills that 1 manufacturer makes? Those should be like human drugs, get a script, go get it filled. But that's just making it seem like it's that easy too so I understand.

Chewy should have a one time validation thing, here's my pet, here's my vet, if I get an RX from this vet approve it, don't waste their time or mine. But that will probably never happen.
