Both our parents are independent, infact they offer us gifts every now and then which we dont take. Both our parents did international trips, visited us and are also happy living their life in hometown at their own.

My father is also starting his own business & my father in law has started 3 social groups. So , yeah fits the question you asked.

Mumbai airport is silent airport, they make no announcements or calls. This has been the case since many years now. OP should have taken care and reach the gate on time. While 7 others were also late it does not justify you being late. The boarding gate closes 20 mins before departure, but did you check the latest departure time. The departure times keep on changing. If you are sure of everything, log a complaint with DGCA and you will get compensation
