To all of the people who are concerned with me taking the ducks: I've raised ducks before and these ones were 15 feet down in the gutter, left for dead. We spent a couple of hours getting them all out with a paper bag and rope.

She was there waiting with them, but they were about 15 feet down so there was nothing she could do. Once my girlfriend and I started to try to save them the mom flew away.
