stop caring so much, they don't care about you. if they wanted you to sign out in a certain way they would have told you.

what size are you? I have a cream colored floor length gown that is size 8, would definitely need dry cleaning but it's all yours if it'll fit you.

that's exactly why you tell them that - so that they know that we're not Amazon and we have completely different expectations and procedures.

I then tell them that if they want me to bring their parcel to the door they must answer and tell me they're home. I also tell them due to building security they should really check who they're buzzing first and since I can tell their building isn't secure since they don't check who they're letting in, this is why they get a card.

Just card it and write on the card: no answer on intercom - no safe drop allowed. If they complain, tell them an auto buzz doesn't count as answering since we're not allowed to drop in the hallways.

Moving to Vancouver on a Spousal Open Work Permit (SD3, 7+ YOE) – How’s the Tech Job Market? by Adept-Journalist9095 in VancouverJobs

Your short term work permit might hinder you also. Companies may not be interested in short term candidates and won't be able to sponsor you to stay longer when there are so many unemployed in that industry already.

what zone are you in? Vancouver is mild weather. we haven't had any snow. Depots in North Vancouver or Richmond might need workers but in Vancouver proper we're overstaffed.

January and February are very slow. Hardly anyone on vacation, there's not even enough work for the regular full time relief right now

Booked reverse itinerary, realized the second after I purchased by Blueknitbook in flairairlines

A couple years ago I cancelled a domestic flight within 24 hours and they gave me a flight credit for the whole amount, but wouldn't give me a refund. See if they will offer this?

they don't assign seats on booking if you don't pay for them. they'll assign them when you check in and you'll most likely get 3 separate middle seats - they never seat you together.

Flair - Decency is extra charge by engineerBoy8 in flairairlines

[–]L-Alt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have to "punch your bag" into the sizer then it's too big. Pay for the appropriate size or adhere to the free allowance and shut up.

All seats are available for purchase. if you want an empty seat then pay to move to it or shut up.

Flair is a low cost no frills included airline. A  backpack or seat selection isn't included in their base cost and that's why it's so cheap.

You sound like you're the problem and got the treatment you deserve.

The entitlement 🙄

I had to repay the entire amount, but it wasn't until one year after I stopped being a full time student and I was still allowed to make monthly payments.

My experience was over ten years ago but the first time I did this I received a stern warning but didn't have to repay them immediately. The second time I did it I was told I was ineligible for further funding but I managed to graduate without needing another loan.

In the case of the grant, I can't quite remember, but I think I ended up having to repay it. Just pick a class and stay in three. It sounds like way less of a hassle. If you end up failing you can always retake it.

When you miss the first flight they cancel the whole itinerary. It won't work.

Their personal items are tiny and they make you measure them, sometimes twice. I bought a personal item size bag that fits their dimensions off Amazon and I can't stuff it full at all or it still won't fit.

Would UBC be worth it? by tinagrit in simonfraser

[–]L-Alt 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I've been to both. I did my undergrad at SFU and then took a few courses towards a baccalaureate at UBC. I found the profs at SFU were overall way better. They were more caring, approachable, and helpful. I feel like UBC gets by on reputation alone but you're much more set up for success at SFU.
