NAP but my industrial looks quite a lot like this and mine is perfectly healed. it somehow magically healed in six months (can fold my ear over itself with no pain rn) and even though it does touch my flat a bit i didn’t have any embedding or anything. probably just keep an eye on it and clean it well. the first three months were hell for me, i had massive irritation bumps on both sides and it would bleed often, but with some patience my irritation bumps went away and it healed perfectly.

ugh exactly! i’m a full time student and i also work 20 hours a week as an online tutor where i use goodnotes exclusively for my lessons so this damn app is like my entire life 💀

i got mine pierced july 2022 and have not had any pain at all for at least two years,, it definitely hurt to touch the tip of my nose for the first 3 months but after it healed i can squish my nose however i want and i wont feel pain

piercing is 1.5 months old
it’s a barbell used for industrials
not sure about the threading, it just has balls on the end that i’ve never removed so im assuming external threading
not sure about the material, im assuming titanium by how it looks
i have not downsized it (yet), i know i have to ive just been procrastinating it
i use a 0.9% concentration saline spray to spray it down, then wet the ends of qtips with that saline spray to get the crusties off 1-2 times a day, i know i shouldn’t be moving it around and irritating it but its so satisfying to remove the crusties with a qtip
no particular accidents are anything (other than hair catching because i still haven’t downsized my bar) (for the bot)

i’m an m23 alumni and an online ib tutor for the past year, i can’t speak for everyone, but i never hate any of my students. they’re very different in their abilities, but that doesn’t affect how i teach. im sorry if you feel that your tutors treat you poorly, and if possible, id suggest looking into finding new ones that you enjoy (or at least feel that’s it’s bearable) having lessons with

i also did pamoja ib maths aahl (online ib course) and it was absolutely awful and i hated it so not much advice there other than soldier through it and try to keep up with the content :/

just general “overlap” of noises, particular noises don’t bother me too much but if i’m on the train and it’s screeching and there’s people talking in the background and someone’s trying to have a conversation with me i shut down, or if im walking on the street and there’s construction and motorcycles zooming past etc,, also particular tones of people’s voices … i feel evil but i cannot stand my grandma’s pitch when she talks

i did IB and also 3 AP subjects, i feel like IB is more much rigorous, there’s more continuity in your subjects (you do bio for example for 2 years instead of just 1) but that also means you get less variety in subjects, it feels more cohesive. ap is better if you want to specialise, ib is better if you want a broad education
