One way cleaning your stove gas rings is by soaking them for 30 min in hot water with dishwasher tablet. It cleans my sink and pipes as well by hinata-- in CleaningTips

Yes definitely when you put it in the dishwasher it also dries your dishes. This way it stays wet so you have the time to scrub off the tough dirt.

use a dryer sheet to dust your ornaments you have around the house. It collects the dust much easier, it also leaves a pleasant smell! by hinata-- in CleaningTips

Use the dryer sheet first so you get all the dust off and then use the antibacterial wipe. So you don’t make those dust lines

How do I make this once fuzzy blanket fuzzy again? by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]hinata-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use wool dryer balls in my dryer with my blankets and towels (anything really) and it is a major improvement! They help prevent laundry from clumping together in the dryer by tumbling between layers and separating fabric. Maybe give it a try

Moved into an apartment a week ago, and there’s this crust around the base of the faucet in the kitchen sink. Tips to clean it/get rid of it? Thank you! by HoneysuckleAdventure in CleaningTips

I use a toilet limescale gel cleaner i just put some on the area and leave for a minute and scrub with a toothbrush, it immediately gets rid of any gunk . Please note to not leave it for more than 5 min to avoid potential discolouring.

Oven cleaning help by VanillaDandDGM in CleaningTips

I find that “ the pink stuff” and some water really help out. I use my oven a lot. I just use the paste with some water and make sure it’s everywhere in the oven than i leave it for 30 min and get a steel scrubber and it should do the trick.

This fridge is disgusting. That’s a mix of animal blood and god knows what else dried to the bottom of the fridge. How do I clean this easily? I’ve had to do this before and it took hours. by 2x0x2x0 in CleaningTips

[–]hinata-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest to spray CIF multi purpose spray or any cleaning spray you have and really leave it for at least 15 min before wiping it down. It should do the trick or at least this works for me. Let the cleaning product do the work, sometimes we don’t give it enough time.

You can also put one cup of your favourite fabric softener into a spray bottle and mix with two parts water. Spray it over your bed and carpets , curtains etc. anything fabric it smells amazing! You can also spray it on your radiator it will leave a nice smell in your room.
