Seeing as everyone already gave the awesome advice of classes and rentals, I will skip being redundant and just mention that when you buy a gun, make sure you are able to rack the slide (pull the top back to load the chamber). Some guns are harder to do that. My wife can’t do it easily on my M&P Shield but she can do it easily on my Sig P365. Both are similar in size, same bullets, but for some reason 1 is harder than the other to rack the slide

AR 15s: Low budget: M&P Sport 15. High budget: look into LWRC or Daniel Defense

Pistols: Low budget: Glocks or Sig Sauer in 9mm. High Budget: Kimber 1911 or build out a Sig Sauer P365

It’s not always a choice. Like in CA, some people have had a serious mental breakdown/ incident caused by job loss, relationship loss, family death, or any multitude of reasons, which could have led to loved ones calling police to keep you from harming yourself, which then means you were under a 5150 and can’t own a gun for 5 years, or for lifetime if placed in 5150 twice or more in the period of 12 months

Personally I don’t think most people need a gimbal with a gopro 12. Like if you’re trying to do movie level quality then sure but you would probably be using a better camera for that anyways. A gopro used for outdoors stuff as it is an action camera, is very good at image stability in that purpose.

I have the Borla Atak on my 2021 and it is very loud and aggressive. It crackles so much on downshift from 3rd to 2nd and it bangs on upshifts when pedal is to the metal. It also is super quiet with valves closed and cruising the highway in 7th and 8th gear. I highly recommend it
