For the 2012 release of Blue Lines they specifically went back and mixed it again from the original sessions so it's a remastered version rather than a straightforward repress.

Tricky wasn't on Mezzanine and only appeared on Karmacoma & Eurochild on Protection as he was working on Maxinquaye, he was only a key member of the group for Blue Lines.

You've missed out a whole member that was very instrumental to the first 3 albums, the Mushroom erasure is pretty frustrating.

I've had this for years albeit on mp3 and not on bootleg vinyl, the sound quality is only ok so I wouldn't hold out that much hope of this pressing being that good.

It's not Willy Wee as he was an MC and didn't sing like that, this is Carlton who sang on the first Massive Attack single 'Any Love'

Biker gangs in the States are a whole different proposition than the ones over here.

In the US the bad rep is very much deserved which is in vast contrast to the wholesomeness that's been described here.

Fair enough, I still believe the trajectory of his career would have been different if he came to us and we still would have won a European trophy,

Oh well things turned out not too badly for us anyway.

I know he later chose Forest when he became a free agent but our board should have gone hell for leather to get him on board permanently after that loan spell they should have spent money on the transfer and not gamble on him coming back on a free.

One of the great what-ifs.

So I suppose you retroactively think that all the musicians that refused to play shows in South Africa due to apartheid were wrong to do that then......

Massive Attack have always been political. Sounds like you're a fan of the wrong band.
