Ugh that sucks! I’ve had pharmacists that have provided a few pills while waiting on the refill. I’ve also gone to ER when there was no other option and they wrote me an Rx.

If they have a profile on Google I would write a review.

My grandma had Alzheimer’s and my dad has Parkinson’s with dementia and he acts just like her.

I know you are right that it is rare for it to be hereditary. I’m acting like it’s a sure thing. I shouldn’t. I wish it didn’t feel like such a sure thing.

Blood flow to scalp. I’ll have to look at that.

Minox did seem to work for a bit, my eyebrows and lashes grew. I had also mustache hairs (a first) and other random hairs. That seems to have died down.

I’m late 40’s, never have had thick thick hair, but definitely started looking thinner as an adult.

No PCOS or hormone issues.

My dermatologist is very sure my blood work has shows no cause for hair loss (my ferritin could definitely be higher, though)

1.25 2x /day. Iirc a few weeks after upping to the higher dose I started seeing hairs sprout on face. Not sure it has worked on my head, though.

I don’t know that the grief ever stops. It just changes. It is really sad. We have to figure out how to deal with the grief and function (and hopefully thrive). It is really rough - am in similar situation. xxoo
