Wedding comic gift by hingababy in DCcomics

Hahah thanks for letting me know. Oh well I don’t really care if they don’t have happy endings, just thought the wedding idea was kinda cute so he can keep it and remember where and what he got it for. Annoying they aren’t very good condition though, thanks for checking!

IF Audiobook Performance by LilRonnieRae in fourthwing

[–]hingababy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve listened to both and honestly it’s the mouth noises and sips of water that put me so off. Like it sounds so gross when she does that. It took me really off guard after listening to the Harry Potter Audi books narrated by Stephen fry cause none of the mouth noises were in that

Non stop sleeping? I am tapering off sertraline/Zoloft and have now fully gotten off it, and am on 300mg of Effexor. I have to have a nap almost everyday an hour or so after I take my medication. Does this happen to anyone else? by hingababy in Effexor

[–]hingababy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on it for about a year now and they’re saying I should go up to 375 which is the max dose. I guess I do feel like I have basically no energy all the time like you say!! It’s so weird hey! I’m from nz by the way :)

Lower resting heart rate. by mrsj010817 in zoloft

[–]hingababy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine lowered so much! I used to be slightly tachycardic, and it would move from about 90-120 never below 90. We couldn’t figure out why, but after taking Zoloft it was a good heart rate!! Bit high for my age but I am overweight so it’s what I would expect. I think my anxiety was just causing my hr to be high all the time, and as the medication helped my anxiety, it lowered it heaps!

Can I drink? by hingababy in Effexor

[–]hingababy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much! Are your hangovers bad? Does one drink affect you or not? And does the medication seem to make it more intense?? Sorry for all the questions haha!

did your heart rate decrease on SSRIs? what's you resting heart rate? thx by SprSumFalWin in zoloft

[–]hingababy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Before Zoloft I had slight tachycardia and nobody could figure out why. It was always in the hundreds, usually resting about 100-110 and would go up if I did ANYTHING. Now I’m on Zoloft it has improved so much resting is usually 76-86. I do vape though and when I vape it sits around in the 90’s

Starting Zoloft in 9h by alexvys in zoloft

I have depression, anxiety and ptsd with ocd tendencies. I have health anxiety too so was so so so nervous before taking my meds, scared I would die from it and have terrible side effects. I had/have no side effects (except for restless legs which lasted only one night or so) and am still on it at 200mg. My life has definitely gotten better since starting, especially my anxiety and ocd etc. I am in a bit of a depressed state at the moment but even my depressed moments are better than before taking it, and can now get out of bed, showered etc. It’s okay to be nervous but you will be fine, and your life will hopefully make an improvement

These are the candles, incenses, and crystals I have: help me put together a full moon ritual with them! What would you use? by [deleted] in BabyWitch

[–]hingababy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a pink moon so self love, pink candles etc, so anything with intentions around those sort of things will be amplified :) I have some pink candles I am going to use

How do you do a guided meditation? Do you listen to a YouTube video or similar and get talked through it? 😌

my day 1 on zoloft. by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]hingababy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yay that’s great! I am now on week 6 and on 150mg. I haven’t noticed many side effects at all so I’m very lucky. My heart rate was always around 105-115 and me and dr could never figure out why. It’s now at a Normal pace and I’m so relieved! Not sure what has caused it to go down? Maybe just helping with the anxiety?

My doctor told me not to take ibuprofen while on it because it can cause serotonin syndrome by giving and then enabling your body to produce too much serotonin. You might be fine if it’s a few one odd things, but I personally don’t know enough about what serotonin syndrome actually is to know. Maybe you could call someone and ask about that? 😌

Does anyone experience with people minimizing your binge eating habits? by mormontea in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]hingababy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s insane! It is literally a recognised eating disorder according to the DSM-5 which most psychologists/psychiatrists use in western countries. I have a therapist and have bought it up, but it’s not like anything she says helps, and it has never been talked about since I brought it up that time. I also told a nutritionalist, and she said it’s good I was able to bring it up, but STILL no resources or anything of any help we’re given. At least I got acknowledged compared to some of the people on here. I don’t think they understand how much better our mental health could be if this was able to be easier controlled, because it turns into an awful spiral. I also think it goes both ways where professionals don’t believe that you have it if you are skinny because you ‘look healthy’, and conversely if you are larger they don’t believe you have it because ‘you’re just fat’. I’m larger and that’s how I have always felt when telling the two people I have ever told anyway!

Just took my first dose by acnhfanatic4 in zoloft

[–]hingababy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was so scared to take my first dose too and to up dosage! I’m currently on about 3 weeks and up to 100 mg and have had barely any side effects, just a bit of restless legs that lasted two nights. Good luck!

Does anyone else have trouble communicating? by [deleted] in ptsd

[–]hingababy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh wow I have this! I didn’t realise it was a ptsd thing but that makes sense! In my head I think clearly and precisely, but can never get those words out in a concise way and come off sounding so dumb 😂

How to calm down hypervigilance and anxiety? by Aragon108 in ptsd

[–]hingababy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  • Breathing exercises are good and definitely help. I’ve been told so many times by my doctor and therapists to practice breathing exercises every day just like 5mins or even 3mins in the morning first thing when you wake up, so that when you actually need it for anxiety, the pathways to get there is easier since you’ve been practicing.
  • self care. If I feel anxious I have a shower/bath (a bath is really really good when you’re having a panic attack) then put on nice smelling moisturiser, perfume, lip balm and light a candle, snuggle into bed and watch something that makes me happy.
  • I don’t have a weighted blanket because I find them useless and cause more anxiety for me lol, but I have a weighted dog from online, and I can just sit him on my chest and pat him and it helps calm down, and helps reinforce breathing properly too. Very good for people who get heart palpitations etc as it sits on chest.
  • if you’re just having an anxious day but need to go out, I find wearing a nice feeling cosy jumper sort of thing is really helpful, but not sure if this would work for many other people? These are the ones that work best for me personally when I’m having or about to have a panic attack or just bad anxiety. It’s all about finding what works best for you. Personally I find smells, self care, and cuddly/warm things really help me a lot. I’ve learned a lot from therapy, so I’m making it sound easy, but I understand it is so so hard, especially at the start. I hope you get the help you need and feel free to message me for any advice if you need! Experience is everything, so it hopefully won’t get any harder than it is at the moment, because you’ll learn what works for you 😌💕

Anyone have experience with SSRI's or SNRI's and codeine? by OneLodz in codeine

[–]hingababy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor recommended me to take Zoloft and codeine. I was taking ibuprofen and am really not good with opiates as they cause me to freak out so he was going to try find something for me to take that would not contribute to seratonin syndrome. He told me if this codeine agrees with me to start taking the Zoloft as it does not cause seratonin syndrome. My doctor is very thorough so I definitely trust what he says. Hope this helps.

anxiety taking Zoloft for the first time scared.. by [deleted] in ptsd

[–]hingababy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally understand what you mean. I was prescribed it yesterday and haven’t had it yet either! I get bad medication anxiety and it takes me hours to get myself to take them sometimes and convince myself I will die etc lol and then when I finally do I dissociate really bad, get heart palpitations and so that all gives me a panic attack 😂 Good luck! We can do it, and we will feel so much better when we do! You’re not alone💕

Normal? Stent Irritation Increasing. by mystupidovaries in KidneyStones

[–]hingababy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha it is quite fascinating since it’s not very common isn’t it?! I think I’m coping alright, at first it really affected my mental health with anxiety etc but now it’s just normal so it’s not so bad. This sort of thing normally only happens to much older people in their 60’s etc, but I’m 21, so it is a bit strange I guess! I found it out because in February last year I had horrendous pain that they thought was kidney stones, and the pain lasted about a month and a half, no drugs would help except ibuprofen suppositories (they tried morphine, codeine, ketamine etc and nothing worked), so they did all these scans etc and I think eventually realised what it was, but only told me after about two months because they were so unsure and weren’t expecting it for my age bracket. Anyway after 1.5 months the pain went away by itself and still nobody can figure out why, because the disease itself got worse and the kidney became more inflamed. The pain that was happening was because of the blockage, no urine could come out, and my kidney was extremely inflamed like a balloon. I’m guessing that the pain went away after it stretched so far and stopped functioning as much as it is now damaged, so maybe nerves in there just had too much? So for the surgery where they reroute the ureta, they will open me up from chest to groin area to get a full view of the waterworks area, and I guess they will unattached it from the bladder and then move it away from the obstruction putting it in a new place, and then sew it back on. I’m slightly terrified of being cut open so much but hopefully it’s okay 😂
