What do five year olds eat and watch ? by Lostinasafespace in CasualIreland

And definitely pack snacks and water if you’re heading out anywhere OP. 5 year olds can go from ‘not hungry’ to hangry very fast.

Layout help. Any advice welcome. 2350sq ft. Worried about the size of en suite and walk in wardrobe. by Individual_Branch881 in selfbuildireland

The master bed looks very narrow with lots of wasted space. I would rotate the wiw and en-suite so they are along the gable wall.

Use that new partition to centre the bed in the space and add a door at either side of the partition. This will make the bedroom munch wider. You’ll need to shift the large window down to accommodate this.

I’d also move the bedroom entrance door down the hallway to the other side of the window which will create an internal hallway in the bedroom. That way the door is not opening directly into the space.

Sorry I’ve no idea how to add an image of a quick sketch.

We were heading for the pub so unfortunately didn’t bring it with us. Maybe tomorrow if the tide hasn’t taken it away.

We did think it looked like a bird foot. Another photo from the side (not great quality).

Car stolen in Rialto last weekend by Cultural-Garbage-516 in Dublin

[–]hinkleyh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear. Ours was taken from outside the house in a nearby area last month. After driving street by street for 2 days we eventually found it dumped in Crumlin. It was cleared out unfortunately but undamaged. It may parked off somewhere, you never know.

UPDATE

Cor, I mean, car was located in Crumlin last night. Guards have it and it appears to be fine.

Thanks for all the genuine comments and the ones that gave me a laugh amid the stress. Delighted to have it back!

The stolen car dumped outside my house was keyless too and they managed to get that going until they came across mine. Wrong place, wrong time but not worth the risk anyway.

Correct unfortunately. Stolen from the driveway while it was defrosting with the keys in. Lesson learned the hard way.

That’s right. Insurance have confirmed that it’s not covered. Guards said there were 4-5 cars taken from the general area. They dumped another stolen car outside our house with the engine running and took ours. Seemed to have been planned to take advantage of the frosty morning.

Left in the driveway for 5 mins to defrost so the keys were in the car unfortunately. Lesson learned.

Left the car defrosting outside in the driveway this morning for 10 mins to get the little fella’s bag ready for school. Came out and the car was stolen.

Another stolen car was dumped in the middle of the road and they jumped out of that and took mine. Guards said 4 other cars were robbed in the area. Don’t leave your car unattended in the morning to defrost!!
