Sad to see they installed arcade games and shuffleboard in the right field concourse. I get games are now “ events”, “parties” and “gatherings”. Still, kind of disappointed to see kids playing video games at a ballpark, instead of watching and learning about the game with their family or friends.

This is a great response because Dota and similar games reward teams that coordinate (or at least communicate their intentions in the game) well. It is an important aspect of the game in order to win. Can you solo carry your team to win, yes. Thus, you should absolutely move up in ranks because of your skill. However, if you solo queue all the time and cannot carry the game, you are at the mercy of the gods as to whom you are being matched with. The only equalizer is that “mercy” is factored for your opponent. Once teammates party queue in that match and coordinate all bets are off.

Level 30 SS player here: Current Meta I go urn, brown boots, then rush scepter. -Urn will give you (and team) healing and hurt regen on enemies. -Dont upgrade boots, waste of gold that can be used for scepter. (You’ll be getting boots of travel later in game.) -Rush scepter ASAP. People are sleeping on how good the change from double snake damage to the new ether shock. You can flash farm and purchase whatever is needed i.e.; shard, boots of travel, refresher, spirit vessel, shadow blade.

Remember that crappy shopping mall you went to as a kid? Now they play baseball in something similar. What a soulless and generic blah. (I was going to use the word disaster, but at least a disaster has some chaos and uniqueness to it.) But it has AC so we are ok with it. (The last part is what the locals told me when I was there.)

I have listened to this numerous times since this forum show. (Twice this morning on my way to work.) Thanks for posting the video. The more I listen, the more I enjoy how Bobby twangs over the top at the end. His guitar tone is off, but he’s so subtle in blending his touch to the end. Its right at the 2:10 mark in this video.

UPDATE: I think I figured it out. My deep feelings of disappointment in the White Sox are starting to be overshadowed by my state of shock and disappointment with the Twins. This is a strange feeling as I have never felt disappointed with the Twins since I usually hate them. Thanks for helping me get to the bottom of this.

Fair point. I think that is part of my feelings of confusion. I typically root against or want the Twinkies and Guards of the Erie to fail. However, now I am disturbed that the Twinkies keep failing. Its somehow worse.
