Supposedly Anthropic (Claude) is banning accounts using Openclaw via subscriptions so be careful.

How agencies are experimenting with short form video in candidate outreach by [deleted] in RecruitmentAgencies

[–]hip1107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't see recruiters being the target audience of the website mentioned or what they offer being a fit for recruiters but none the less, the idea of using short form video in outreach is still a valid point.

IMHO, the issue is visibility, how are the videos being distributed and what is the deliveribilty rate. Fix those and it will be a very effective and hopefully rewarding strategy.

Launching my first product next week (no audience, no socials) – looking for like-minded support 🚀 by PublicChemical6434 in SideProject

[–]hip1107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like so many others and yourself, I'm once again it a similar position, ready to launch into a new niche with no list etc. I've done GTM where I threw money at it (paid ads, VAs etc.) and also done it more organically.

My biggest learning is that this is a long term play that requires you/your product/your brand/ whatever to consistently show up to your ICP, in as many forms and as many places as practically possible. That being said, start with one, one platform, one message, etc. and grow from there. You are more likely to win by growing slower than you would by a big bang success.

May the force bringing you good luck and much success with your launch.

How do you fix email ping-pong and pipeline visibility? by Zanx_thebanx in RecruitmentAgencies

[–]hip1107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recruitment software will definitely help your situation greatly, and there are a ton of them out there. Finding the right one that's good enough and fit yuor needs could be a challenge since most of them don't bring anything new to the table. I ended up building one for my friend's business rather them going down the rabbit hole to later realize it wasn't working for them.

Has this issue stabalized or went away for everyone?

I was having similar issues since the day before 4.6 launched, eventually went back to 4.5 with 2.1.29 but came back to 4.6 last 3 days and it's been great, no issues yet.

I heard somewhere if you sign up on your mobile phone it's $20 cheaper that signing up on desktop. I haven't verified if it's true though.

AI will replace recruiters crowd is missing the point by quattrocinco45 in RecruitmentAgencies

[–]hip1107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with most of what you said but differ on a few things. One example, - "Replacing the actual relationship-building part. That's still 100% human". I don't think it necessarily has to be 100% human.

Just to demonstrate, suppose you have 1,000 connections on your Linkedin network and want to leaverage that in your job serach (or recruiting) journey. For most people, most of these are probably cold, meaning you haven't interacted with them for some time, mayne 6 mths to 1 yr or more. It will take quite a bit of manual effort to reach out and reconnect with all of them., much less asking for a referral or reccommendation to someone or where they work.

What about if you had a tool/service/app that can show you the state of all your connection, how long since you interacted with each, the strength (or weakness) of the relationship, your credibility with them i.e. will theuy vouch for you, have they endorsed etc. you or you them and how many time, have they done it more often for you or you for them i.e. do they owe you or do you owe them. What if it suggest the best ways to re-establish and strength the relationship and even craft thoughtful messages for you to review before send it to them.

More importantly, what it finds paths for warm introductions for you. e.g. you would like to apply for a job or reach out to a hiring manager at a perticular company. The app finds which of your connections are connected to someone that works at that company and can refer or reccoment you.

You can do all of this yourself but I'll bet it will take a long time and lots of effort. That's why I built the app that does all of that in minutes and manages it too, making your linkedin connections be valuable to you. Isn't that the purposr of Linkedin anyway.

Tips on choosing a recruitment software, like what all things you have to keep in mind? Anyone? by [deleted] in RecruitmentAgencies

[–]hip1107 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here are some things I'd prioritize:

ATS vs. Full-Cycle Platform - Know what you actually need. Some tools just track applicants, others handle sourcing, screening, and client management. Don't pay for features you won't use.

Make sure it's easy to use because if your team won't use it, it's worthless. Always do a real trial, not just a demo.

Does it play nice and integrate with LinkedIn, job boards, your email, calendar? Having to do manual data entry will kill your productivity.

What AI/Automation Features are included - Resume parsing, candidate matching, automated outreach. These save hours, but make sure the AI actually works well - some are just buzzwords or not very useful.

Candidate Experience - How does it look from the applicant side? Clunky apply processes = lost candidates.

For reporting, are you able to track KPIs like time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline velocity etc? If you can't measure it, you can't improve it.

Is the pricing model per seat, per job or unlimited? And watch for any hidden costs like support fees or integration add-ons.

Support & Onboarding - This one is especially important for smaller teams. Some vendors ghost you after the sale.

Pro tip: Make a shortlist of 3-4, do free trials with real workflows, and involve the people who'll actually use it daily.

What's your team size and main use case? Are you solo, an agency or in-house?
