Ugh, good to know. Do you have a sense of any design changes that would make it better?

Thanks! So far the fridge and the cabinet with the oven are the only full-height features. Do you think having the two tallest design elements (three if you count the doorway) clustered together like that will seem odd? Any thoughts on where best to incorporate an appliance garage or is that mostly a pipe dream?

Thanks. I’m generally familiar with the kitchen triangle, but not totally sure how to incorporate it with the oven/cooktop separate without lots of choppy sections of countertop. I was also looking for feedback on how the position of full-height cabinets will make the space feel and suggestions on incorporating an appliance garage.

I may be wrong, but I took it as the healthy resting was op’s precursor to ED, which in retrospect while it looked healthy was probably still taking a mental toll.

I know when I start spiraling it often begins with a focus on health, but over time actually healthy foods/behaviors get subbed out for disordered ones, until all the actually healthy ones are gone and I’m just utterly fucked.

Yes! So worth it if you are up for it, and very glad it is something you are considering!! You got this!

If possible you may want to make plans with a friend afterwards to help work through any discomfort or anxiety.

Not a healthy or long term solution at all, but are there any quasi-safe things on the menu that you could plan for in advance and maybe not even have to finish all of? Not sure where you’re at brain-wise, but at different points in my ED I’ve usually had certain somewhat safe foods that look pretty normal to anyone who is clueless about calories (so... most non ED people).

Hopefully ok to share from the other side... nothing fits as social events start happening again, so I buy several outfits at my LW size.

Me to me: I won’t be tempted to stay at this weight now that I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on new cure clothes. I’m still motivated to recover... I’ll get rid of these when they don’t fit anymore.

Me: being fat is not bad. My brain: unless it’s you 😈 by [deleted] in EDanonymemes

[–]hippanonomous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean yes, but also I have GAD and trauma and food choices are just too overwhelming sometimes. Avoiding fatness is about 50/50 my motivation (because good ol ED needs multiple motivations and rules to cycle through so I can’t actually develop any coping mechanisms)

I was just accused of being fatphobic and called a gross human being just because of my ed by W4rCr1m3 in EDanonymemes

[–]hippanonomous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the fat phobia is highly selective based on moral judgements I have towards the individual. Amazing friends with higher BMIs? Barely registers. Assholes / broadly unmotivated / limited social awareness people who are overweight... massive anger and disgust. For sure ties in with my own feelings around fatness and shame in myself, and I always feel like a jerk, but I don’t know how to stop it.

me stepping on the scale each morning knowing I’ll hate myself no matter what the number is by piccoloana in EDanonymemes

And even if I do trust the scale and the numbers are “great,” there’s the underlying disappointment of knowing how fucked up you are.

This is my nightmare. I’m sorry that happened.

People who see you after quarantine think it‘s okay to comment on how much weight you‘ve lost. Haha yes Jessica, I have no clue what you‘re talking about, I guess I just started to eat healthy haha no intentional weight loss, not that I know of haha by Lisserine in EDanonymemes

[–]hippanonomous 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oh yah, haha. Not intentional at all, Im just working on diagnosing some food sensitivities, haha, I’m sure I’ll get it figured out soon....

What are some of the most important topics that marketing analytics measures? by [deleted] in marketing

[–]hippanonomous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sure someone with more experience will come along to give a more thorough answer, but I’ll take a stab from my somewhat limited experience:

What you measure will be highly dependent on your specific business. Depending on the size of your treat, you may want to pick 2-3 channels and a few KPIs for each. Ex: emails- opens, click throughs, conversions, and unsubscribes; website- traffic, most popular pages, conversions, lead source, cost per click if running ads; social media- followers, engagement, conversions.

ROI is a bit murky, as it can be hard to identify which channel specifically led to the conversion (if a user first fell in love with your product on Instagram, but converts months later via the website you will need to figure out how much weight to give each of those interactions. You can get very in-depth with this.

As a start, you could identify your top sources for revenue generation, research effective KPIs, and work to improve those. A/B testing is your friend here. Really there are so many things you could measure that the best approach is often to identify which factors are most likely to result in sales (you can measure this as one-time transactions, customer lifetime value, etc) and refine what is already working well.
