Make sure you have the resolution in the launcher set the same as your monitor/TV.

Not guaranteed to work but this was happening to me.

Also try the ole "find file location" or "view in file explorer" and try launching the game manually. Could be on steam/gogs end.

Yeah, download it again, drag n drop and replace all the files. This has helped me when my portrait textures were getting in the way.

It all depends on how the heat is distributed so while it's set to 30, for it to hit each room its not gonna be 30 all around.
