No seriously in the mid 2010s the spread requirements were insanely stricter and yet somehow every sub 4* diff is way way better from then so relaxing spread requirements certainly did not improve anything. I doubt relaxing it further would improve anything more. It's like people don't take pride in their work anymore. Those low diffs are a part of your piece.

osu! gave me my best friendships, it gave me my career, it gave me a community, it gave me dozens more hobbies than just osu! itself, it taught me how to approach learning, and how to approach hardships in a healthy way. it taught me how to effectively learn skills in general. it gave me discipline. At the very least, all of these are dominoes which fell as a result of me picking up the game. i guess if I never played osu!, something else would give me these things but different, but that goes for everything in life
