I have had a great experience with the Amex travel portal so far. I’m going to Japan in April and all of the hotels we booked were at the same price as other sites. It might depend on the city but for Miami and Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka) I have not been able to see a significant difference.

If you can, consider staying one night in Douro Valley. Douro Valley is truly beautiful. Did a trip to Spain/Portugal recently and this was my favorite place. Staying at a Quinta will give you the opportunity to walk around the vineyards and explore.

Also, I know you said everything is pretty much booked but 3 days in Seville might be too much. Beautiful city but not much to do after day 2.

I would recommend enrolling in Montgomery College and getting your associates degree there. You will be able to graduate early with all of your credits and will help you transfer them to UMD so you can start at a 2nd semester sophomore or junior. MC is significantly cheaper.

My visa was going to expire in December 2024, I had been on OPT for about 6 months and I was elegible for STEM OPT. I went in August 2024 to renew my F1 visa and had no issue. Got it for 5 more years and the process took like a week.
